Cilvegözü Border Gate is Türkiye's gateway to Syria. Modernized by GTİ, the border gate was temporarily closed to commercial vehicle crossings since July 2012 due to the internal turmoil and security concerns in Syria. However, it remained open for vehicles delivering humanitarian aid to Syria.
